Xmedia Recode Ergebnis nach Update massiv schlechter

    Hallo zusammen,


    ich musste Xmedia Recode updaten, da ich mit der alten Version mehrere Fehlermeldungen erhalten habe.
    Die Einstellungen habe ich nach dem Update wieder so eingestellt wie es meiner Meinung nach zuvor auch war. Das Ergebnis ist nach dem Update jedoch massiv schlechter.
    Aufnahme ist die gleiche Session. Dateigröße des kodierten Endproduktes ist auch extrem unterschiedlich bei gleicher Länge.


    Ich habe die Media Info der alten fertigen Datei und der neuen fertigen Datei einmal unten stehend gepostet.

    Habt ihr eine Idee woran das liegen könnte, oder was ich bei den Einstellungen vergessen habe., erkenne zwar das die Bitrate deutlich sich unterscheidet aber nicht warum?

    ich codiere aktuell erneut, die Dateigröße die es mir jetzt anzeigt sieht schon besser aus, er codiert jetzt aber langsam als noch gestern.


    Ich hatte zuvor (bei der schlechten Codierung) sogar als Qualität 10.0 angegeben, welcher Faktor macht gerade den Unterschied?

    Erst einmal... diese Einstellungen die ich gepostet habe sind an x264 Standard dem Preset Medium angeglichen.


    Schade für XMedia Recode ist eigentlich das sämtliche Angaben für x264 bei jeder Preset Auswahl so mal gar nicht dem Standard entsprechen. Das ist recht Wirr und ist mir selbst Unverständlich das XMediaRecode sich nich daran hält was das jeweilige Preset auch aussagt.


    z.B. wird die B-Pyramide komplett deaktiviert. egal welches Preset man einstellt. Das muss manuell wieder aktiviert werden. Da waren noch zig andere Sachen die so gar nicht gehen.


    Das erst mal zu XMediaRecode und dem schlechten Encodeergebnis.


    Ein CRF von 10 ist recht unnötig. Es reicht auch schon CRF 18 oder wie in den Settings im Bild oben zu sehen CRF 20 aus für ein vernünftigen Encode.


    CRF 10 kann vertreten werden, sofern man ein schnelleres Preset auswählt.


    Da sich aber das XMediaRecode recht mies bedienen lässt von den Settings her und man davon keine Ahnung hat, weiß man natürlich nicht ob und welche Sachen nun sich geändert haben und ob das auch so gewollt ist.


    Wie gesagt: Das mit der B-Pyramide ist nur ein Teil der Geschichte. Ich habe probiert das Preset umzustellen und der hat mir die B-Pyramide immer wieder abgeschaltet. Standardmäßig bleibt die eigentlich auf 2 - Normal. Nur bei sehr schnellen Presets wird die abgeschaltet.


    Der CRF sollte klar sein (In XMediaRecode wird es als Qualität bezeichnet im Bitratenmodus konstante Qualität). 0.0 ist nahezu Lossless und 51.0 ist absolut Lossy. Für den Mittelmaß ist 23.0 vorgegeben.


    Ein CRF von 17 und 18 wird sehr schwer erkennbar auf YT werden. Ein CRF von 10 ist daher schon eigentlich übertrieben.


    Kommt aber auf das Preset wie gesagt an.


    Für eine sinnvolle Encodierung nutzt man das Preset Slow, bzw. Medium.


    Für schnelle Encodierungen nutzt man halt schnellere Presets und verzichtet somit auf Bewegungssuche und viele andere kleine Kompressions und Qualitätsfeinheiten der Konfiguration. Ausgleichen kann man es dann mit einem niedrigeren CRF Wert.



    Wenn du halt CRF 10 nutzen willst bei z.B. "Very Fast", musst du auch dafür die Einstellungen entsprechend abändern.


    An und für sich kann man diese Settings sich auch von MeGUI sich holen und vergleichen. MeGUI stellt das nämlich entsprechend auch um.

    Stets wenn ich Hilfe suche und du antwortest, bin ich von deinem Wissen ein wenig erschlagen ;)


    Habe aber zumindest den Inhalt grob verstanden sodass ich damit was anfangen kann. Danke dir schon einmal. Ich bin jetzt noch gespannt auf das Ergebnis, gut Ding will Weile haben.
