Story/Aufgabe im Spiel: The Stanley Parable ist ein ungewöhnliches Adventure und First-Person-Erkundungsspiel voller Paradoxe und Gegensätze. Das Spiel erzählt die Geschichte eines Mannes namens Stanley, der Tag für Tag für seinen Chef im Büro Knöpfe drückt und von selbigem mit Hilfe eines Kamera- und Monitorsystems überwacht wird. Als eines Tages die Befehle ausbleiben, hat Stanley einen sehr ungewöhnlichen Tag... The Stanley Parable ist ein sehr philosophisches Spiel mit Denkansätzen über Interaktivität und die Illusion von Freiheit. The Stanley Parable war ursprünglich eine Mod für Half-Life 2 und wurde später als Stand-Alone-Version veröffentlicht.
