Master of Shadows ist ein Schleichspiel mit RPG-Elementen, das in einem düsteren Fantasy-Universum angesiedelt ist. Du übernimmst die Rolle von Styx, einem zwei Jahrhunderte alten Goblin, der sich durch das Spiel schleicht, stiehlt und meuchelt.
Tief im Inneren des atemberaubenden und viele Stockwerke hohen Turms von Akenash bewachen Menschen und Elfen den Weltenbaum, die Quelle des Goldharzes, eines mächtigen, magischen Elixirs. Und eben dort versucht Styx, seiner wahren Herkunft auf die Spur zu kommen ... und nebenbei noch ein Vermögen auf die Seite zu schaffen.
